I'mma be honest here, I do not understand the hype surrounding this boss fight. The first form is completely unchanged. The second has an incredibly basic moveset. The boss itself is *pathetically* easy to defeat, *especially* when Sonic powers up, despite the desperate attempts of the cutscenes to convince you that this is a threat worthy of *powering up Super Sonic further.* Speaking of, I honestly Super Sonic 2 is a pretty dumb idea that should be reserved for fan works, *not an official Sonic the Hedgehog title!* On top of that the final boss "design" is *incredibly* lame-literally just the Supreme down on all fours with a bunch of extra arms-and does not at all convey the image of an eldritch god of death coming to exterminate all life on the planet. Then there's also the unfortunate little detail of the End's true form once again going down with *one hit.* I can count on one hand the number of impressive parts of this fight, all of which have been done infinitely better in the sources they were undoubtedly derived from. With that being said, can someone explain to me *why* this boss is so good? Because as it is, I can only see this as a *very* minor improvement over the original, which was literally nothing at all.

Did you know you can actually turn Super Sonic in this fight? It’s a glitch when you get 50 rings and about to hit Eggman you can press the Super Sonic button then transfer and defeat him.
